How to Interview?

You'll learn how to:

  • Research (company, industry & competition, interviewer(s))
  • Create speaking points (speaking points for each job responsibility)
  • Prepare for common interview questions (tell me about yourself, why do you want to work here, tell me about a challenging situation you had)
  • What not to say in an interview (What’s the pay? So, what will I be doing? I don't have a weakness, don't talk negatively about past employers/colleagues, can I start in like a month or after my vacation?)
  • Questions you should be asking (can you walk me through a typical day in the life of an xx? Can you tell me more about the team I will be working with? What is the biggest challenge your team is currently facing? Can you give me an example? What are your expectations 30, 60, 90 days out? What is the next step in the interview/selection process?)
  • Open Q&A
